Celebrations Challenge at DI’S DIGI DESIGNS

Happy Saturday to everyone!  Hope you had a wonderful week and are enjoying the start of your weekend.   Wishing a Happy, Safe and Blessed New Year to all my friends and followers.

We have a NEW CHALLENGE for you over at DI’S DIGI DESIGNS Challenge and it is CELEBRATIONS.  Di has tons of images that will fit this challenge perfectly.  You have until 10pm EST on Friday, January, 12 2017 to come join the fun.  Remember, you don’t need to use an image from DI'S DIGI STAMPS Shop to play along, but if you do, you have a chance to win 2 images from DI'S DIGI STAMPS in addition to a chance at the sponsor prize.   You may also use a CandiBean rubber or clear stamp to have an extra chance to win the 2 Di's Digi Stamp images!!

I used this adorable image “Candlelight Mice” from DI’S DIGI STAMPS.   This image is colored with Copics and cut out with die from Tattered Lace die then daubed with Distress Ink.  Sentiment is from Gina Marie stamps and cut with Nestie dies.

Christmas Morning Digi from DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS SHOP

Hey everyone, it's time for me to share my Digi Doodle Studios Blog post, and that means it's Thursday!  Hope you have had a great week so far and that all who celebrated Christmas had a wonderful, joyous day.   I am thrilled to share my newest creation using an image and sentiment from Digi Doodle Studios Shop.

This week I get to share my creation with the wonderful Christmas Morning digi image.   I had a great time coloring this peaceful scene with my Copics and cut it out with Tattered Lace die.  I added Stickles to the Christmas tree on the image after cutting it out.  I chose some fun wintery colors to color up Christmas Morning   I used the following colors


Tree G28, N2, YG17, YG97, YG05, YG03, YG01
Deer E47, E57, E21, E27, E37, E35, E33, E31 and then patted with Canvas fabric covered in colorless blender solution to bring texture to fur
Rabbit E79, E74, E71, E70

Pink bow RV99, RV69, RV66, V05
Orange bow and gift E08, R08, R05
Red bows R89, R46, R37

Image is highlighted with B000, B0000 and blended out with my Colorless Blender marker and snowy ground is C2, C0, BG10 and blended out with water brush containing colorless blender solution.

I chose papers from Photo Play, added ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon and bling from Darice.   My sentiment can be found in the Snow Wishes Sentiments set, also found at Digi Doodle Studios Shop.   Sentiment is cut with Lifestyle Crafts die and daubed with Distress ink.   I sure hope you like my creation.

Hey everyone, it's time for me to share my Digi Doodle Studios Blog post, which means it must be Thursday!  Hope you have had a great week so far.   Today marks my kids' last day of school of the semester and I know they are super excited to have the next week and a half off.  I am thrilled to share my newest creation using an image and sentiment from Digi Doodle Studios Shop.

This week I get to share my creation with the wonderful Trixie Elf & Zippy digi image.   I had a great time coloring this duo with my Copics and cut it out with Cottage Cutz die.  I added Stickles to the image after cutting it out and then daubed the edges with ink from Reverse Confetti.  I chose some of my very favorite Christmas-y colors to color up Trixie Elf & Zippy.   I used the following colors

Image is highlighted with RV55 and blended out with my Colorless Blender marker and bottom is N1 and B000 with Stickles added on top.


I chose this fun fold for today's creation - I love this fold because it's great for displaying the image and it looks fancy, but it is easy to make.  I chose papers from Best Creations.  Bottom of pink paper is cut with Martha Stewart punch.  I added wooden embellies that I painted with Acrylic paints and Stickles and added prills on the ornament at top right of card.   My sentiment can be found in the A Season of Cheer Christmas Holiday Cheer digi sentiments set, also found at Digi Doodle Studios Shop.   Sentiment is also cut with Cottage Cutz die and daubed over with Memento ink.   I sure hope you like my creation.

Anything Goes 3 week challenge at THE PAPER SHELTER

For my card this week, I chose Heavenly Christmas Carol digital image from The Paper Shelter Shop.   I colored this wonderful image with Copics and added Stickles for the snow on the ground as well as the snowflakes.  Image is cut with Heartfelt Creations die and then cutout behind is cut with die from my stash.

I chose Crate Papers paper and sentiment from My Craft Spot.  Sentiment is cut with Tattered Lace die.    I chose flowers from I Am Roses and Kaisercraft wooden snowflakes painted with Distress paint and prills added, Faber-Castel gelatos with Stickles on top and acrylic paint with cracked paste.

Ella Eve Home for the Holidays with DIGI DOODLE STAMPS!

Hey everyone, it's time for me to share my Digi Doodle Studios Blog post, which means it must be Thursday!  Hope you have had a great week so far.   It has snowed a couple of times in the past week and has gotten much colder - boo!  I am thrilled to share my newest creation using an image and sentiment from Digi Doodle Studios Shop.

This week I get to share my creation with the wonderful Ella Eve Home for the Holidays digi image.   I had a great time coloring this duo with my Copics and cut it out with my Cameo.  I added Stickles to the image after cutting it out and then posted it on top of this glittery snowflake to make an awesome ornament.  I repurposed some silver string from a gift I received to make the hanger for the ornament.   I chose bright colors to color up Ella Eve Home for the Holidays.   I used the following colors

Julieta Masquerade Ball from DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS!

This week I get to share my creation with the wonderful Julieta Masquerade Ball digi image.   I had a great time coloring this duo with my Copics and Atyou Spicas.   Image is cut out with A. Jillian Vance Designs die.  I chose bright colors to color up Julieta Masquerade Ball.   I used the following colors

Image is highlighted with YG01, YG00 and blended out with waterbrush filled with Copic Colorless Blender solution.  I colored the ground with T5, T3 and T1 also blended out with my water brush.   I chose papers from Basic Grey and added hand dyed crinkle silk ribbon from my stash and flowers from I Am Roses.


My sentiment can be found in the Snow Wishes Digi Sentiments set, also found at Digi Doodle Studios Shop.   I cut it with an A. Jillian Vance Designs die after coloring over it with Copics.   I sure hope you like my creation.

For my celebration card, I decided to make a birthday card as I am always needing them.  I chose the stunning Autumn Enchantment image from The Paper Shelter Shop and colored her with Copics.

I chose these gorgeous papers from DCWV and colored the image to coordinate with the papers.   I added a sentiment from Your Next Stamp and cut out with die from my stash.  Image is cut with Tattered Lace die and then daubed with Distress Ink.  I added bling flourishes from Zva Creative and ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
