Briar Berry Spry Fairy from DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS Shop

Happy Thursday everyone and welcome back to my blog.  It’s been a rough month of March – I am so glad Sunday will bring a new month and hopefully be a happier, healthier one.  I’ve been sick most of the month and 3 of my 4 kids have been sick on and off this month as well, so you can see why it hasn’t been the greatest.  Anyway, I hope you have had a great week so far and have gotten to do some crafting.   My kids are on spring break this week so I have been spending a lot of time with them, which has been nice.  I am  thrilled to share my newest creation using one of the fabulous images from Digi Doodle Studios Shop.

This week I am sharing my creation using Briar Berry Spry Fairy digi image.   I had a great time coloring this gorgeous image with my Copics.  Image cut out with my Cameo.
I used the following colors:
Hair E71, E33, E31, E30

Dress, shoes C4, G28, YG67, YG17, YG23
Dress trim and wand Y04, Y08, RV02

Sentiment is from Pixie Wishes Sentiment Set which is found at Digi Doodle Studios Shop.  Sentiment is cut out with my Cameo and daubed with ink from my stash.  Papers are Heartfelt Creations, I added buttons from Bag O Buttons, bling from Peachy Keen Crafts and spray from Wild Orchid Crafts.  This fold is from a tutorial on Beccy’s Place called Altered Double Display.

For my card this week, I chose Freshly Harvested digital image from The Paper Shelter Shop.   I colored this beautiful image with more vintage type colors that pair well with my Photo Play papers.

I made a double fold card that I found on the internet – sorry I don’t remember the blog.  I added bling from Eyelet Outlet & Brads, buttons from Papertrey Ink, ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon and flowers from Prima.  Here is the closed view of my card.  Sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp.  Both sentiment and image cut out with MFT dies.

Kenzie and Kona Lap Dog from DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS SHOP

Happy Thursday everyone and welcome back to my blog.  It’s been a rough week, I’ve been sick all week this week and last week too and a lot of other stuff going on as well.  I hope you have had a great week so far and have gotten to do some crafting.   I am thrilled to share my newest creation using one of the fabulous NEW RELEASE images from the “Cutie Paws” Collection at Digi Doodle Studios Shop.

This week I am sharing my creation using Kenzie and Kona Lap Dog digi image.   I had a great time coloring this gorgeous image with my Copics.  I added in a rock wall and grass free hand with my Copics and Copic multi-liner pen.  Image then cut with Tattered Lace die.

I used the following colors:
Hair E55, Y26, E42, E40
Skin E04, E11, E21, E00, R32, R30
Dress, flowers, socks, bow
RV29, RV25, RV23, RV21, E04, RV34, RV32, R22, R21, R20, RV13, RV11, RV10
Kona (dog) E37, E35, E33, E31, E47, E44 and then duck cloth with Copic colorless blender for fur texture
WIN_20180315_10_08_18_Pro Image is highlighted with R30.  Sentiment is from an Impression Obsession rubber stamp and cut out with Tattered Lace die.  My papers are American Crafts and I added Zva Creative bling flourishes, buttons from Buttons Galore and More and crinkle ribbon from my stash.  I think this fold is a castle fold – I believe it’s from Splitcoast.

For my card this week, I chose Did You Ask for a Fairy? digital image from The Paper Shelter Shop.   I chose HOT colors to color this wonderful image with Copics and cut out with MFT die.

Song Bird from LeAnn’s World 101

It has been a tough week here, I was sick all week and this weekend with it getting worse pretty much each day until today, when I am finally starting to feel semi-human. 

Anyway, I am back with my latest creation from LeAnn's World 101 shop.  Have you visited this new shop yet?  You can find the Etsy shop at LeAnn's World 101 shop and we also have a Facebook Fan group that you can find here LeAnn's World 101 Facebook Fan Group.  Make sure to check them both out, I think you will LOVE LeAnn’s images as much as I do!!

Today I got to play with the adorable Song Bird digi stamp.  Image can be found at LeAnn's World 101 shop.  I colored this awesome image with my Copics, trying to use only a few color palettes to really showcase the beauty of this image.  I created the clouds/sky background freehand.  I chose Kaisercraft papers – one of my very favorite sets.

LOTS OF GREEN Challenge at Di’s Digi Designs Challenge

Happy Saturday to everyone!  Hope you had a wonderful week and are enjoying the start of your weekend.

We have a NEW CHALLENGE for you over at DI’S DIGI DESIGNS Challenge and it is LOTS OF GREEN.  Di has tons of images that will fit this challenge perfectly.  You have until 10pm EST on Friday, March 23 to come join the fun.  Remember, you don’t need to use an image from DI'S DIGI STAMPS Shop to play along, but if you do, you have a chance to win 2 images from DI'S DIGI STAMPS in addition to a chance at the random prize.   You may also use a CandiBean rubber or clear stamp to have an extra chance to win the 2 Di's Digi Stamp images!!

I used a clear stamp from Simon Says Stamp for the sentiment and cut out with Tattered Lace die.  Buttons from American Crafts, bling from Queen and Co.

LeAnn’s World 101 Bunny Play and Kitty

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog.  It’s been a busy weekend and next 2 days will be busy before a little break mid-week and then busy again!  Ahh, such is life with 4 teenagers and 5 dogs.  Anyway, I am excited to announce that I have joined LeAnn’s World 101 DT.  Have you visited this new shop yet?  You can find the Etsy shop at LeAnn's World 101 shop and we also have a Facebook Fan group that you can find here LeAnn's World 101 Facebook Fan Group.  Make sure to check them both out, I think you will LOVE LeAnn’s images as much as I do!!

Today I got to play with the adorable Bunny Play digi stamp.  Image can be found at LeAnn's World 101 shop.  I colored this awesome image with my Copics.  I created the clouds/sky background freehand.  I chose Kaisercraft papers and made a fancy fold card.

Image and sentiment are both cut with MFT dies and sentiment, from Simon Says Stamp is embossed.  Just in case you can’t read it in the photo above, here it is.

Additionally, I want to share my first creation which uses another adorable image from LeAnn's World 101 shop.  This is Kitty

Right now, we are having a contest in the LeAnn's World 101 Facebook Fan Group using the Kitty image.  Click on the link to go see all the details of how to enter the contest.  You have until March 11 and I sure hope you will come play along!!

For my creation using Kitty, I made a basic card shape and colored the image with Copics then cut out with Duo dies.  The pieces behind the image are cut with Duo die and Tattered Lace die respectively.  I chose Simple Stories pattern paper that I just purchased.  Sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp and cut with Pink and Main die.  I added bling from my stash as well as buttons for embellishments.

Sorrel Merry Thistle from DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS

Hey everyone, it's time for me to share my Digi Doodle Studios Blog post, and that means it's Thursday!   Hope you have had a great week so far and have gotten to do some crafting.  I cannot believe it's March already - wow time flies!  I am thrilled to share my newest creation using one of the fabulous newest release images from Digi Doodle Studios Shop.

Digi Doodles Sorrel Merry Thistle Fairy Digi Stamp

This week I am sharing my creation using Sorrel Merry Thistle
digi image.   I had a great time coloring this gorgeous image with my Copics and and Atyou Spicas and then cutting out with a Duo die.   I used bold and bright colors again this week to color Sorrel Merry Thistle as to me the images from this collection seem to want to sparkle and shine.


 I used the following colors:

Hair E44, YR23, E43, Y00
Skin E04, E11, E21, E00, R32, R30
Dress, flower BV29, BG78, BG75, BG72, BG10
Wings RV66, RV05, RV09, RV06, RV04
Socks use same colors as dress and wings
Outer edge of wings V09, V06
Owl E29, E27, E37, E34, E08, YR07, YR04, YR23, Y17, Y15

Image is highlighted with BG10 and then I used various Copics to add dots all around the image and drew in grass at the bottom using G19, G09, G07, G05, G02.  Sentiment can be found in the Pixie Wishes Sentiments Set also found at Digi Doodle Studios Shop.  Sentiment is cut out with Duo die and then daubed over with Memento grape jelly ink.  My papers are from First Edition and I also used the paper for my butterflies, which are Memory Box dies.  I added pearls from my stash to the centers of the butterflies.
